This is no ordinary support worker role the idea Care Support Worker will someone who believes in people and will go the extra mile to support individuals overcome barriers and build on their strengths whiles maintaining choice and control in their lives.
Workplace
There are different places where you could work in social care such as at someone’s home, a residential care home or at a supported living scheme and in the wider community.
Care Support Worker
Care Support Workers we place are required to to have the skills knowledge and experience help individuals to maintain independent living skills such as:

Assisting people with eating and drinking and/or meal preparation

Helping with personal care such as showering and dressing

Booking and accompanying people to appointments or shopping trips.

Supporting people with social, recreational and educational activities

Monitoring the client's health conditions, helping with medication and facilitating general wellbeing.
