Respite Service

This service is perfect for informal carers for example parents, relatives or family members who need the peace of mind knowing that their loved one will be looked after and supported in their absence when they need to leave home to attend personal appointment, meet friends or for grocery and household shopping.

This flexible service can be a one-off arrangement for a couple of hours on a specified day or regular scheduled respite visits to facilitate the carer's breaks

To provide the best support to you and your loved one we recommend to meet you and the cared for in advance of the respite service engagement to enable us to identify and match an appropriate support worker to the Client.

Our care support workers are Disclosure and Baring Service checked, trained, skilled and professional in supporting vulnerable people with a wide range of needs including activities of daily living.

Care Insights works closely with family and relatives to ensure the safety and general wellbeing of loved ones when you have to leave home for important community engagements.

In a different scenario, a family member may need additional support when going on a day out with their loved one. Care Insights can provide you with individual tailored support and assistance required by the client when accessing the community.

Befriending and Companionship Service

Social isolation has a long term negative impact on the mental health and general wellbeing of the elderly and people with disabilities who cannot attend social clubs or go out to meet with friends due to poor health or other reasons.

We offer a befriending scheme to those who meet our criteria. Please note that we do not offer personal care services (e.g. washing, bathing dressing) when providing a befriending and companionship service to you or your relative.
